Antonia Schlueter was born in the United States and received a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Minnesota in 1989. She earned a TEFL certificate from Hamline University in 1992 and moved to Cuneo, Italy later that year. Over the years she has taught English in various projects in state schools, (middle and high schools) co-teaching as a lecturer and preparing students for certifications (First, CAE and Trinity). Her experience also includes university courses, in particular for many years at the Ghedini Conservatory in Cuneo coaching singing students on their English pronunciation of jazz standards. She has extensive experience working with various local companies and the medical community (hospital and health service entities). In addition to teaching she works as a translator, mostly in the fields of medicine and gastronomy/oenology. She particularly enjoys teaching conversation.
